Tees Valley Community Diagnostic Centre Honoured for Excellence in Collaboration

The Tees Valley Community Diagnostic Centre received national recognition last week at the prestigious 2025 Government Property Awards, held in Westminster, London. Representatives from University Hospitals Tees and NTH Solutions were in attendance as the centre was commended in the Collaboration category for its outstanding joint efforts.

Jointly operated by University Hospitals Tees, with the support of the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, the design, development and construction oversight was led by North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions LLP in collaboration with Stockton on Tees Borough Council and the primary contractor, Keir.

Since opening in spring 2025, the centre has provided a comprehensive range of diagnostic services to residents across the Tees Valley region. These include CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound imaging, X-rays, cardiac investigations, blood tests, and respiratory assessments. With tens of thousands of tests projected annually, the facility is significantly enhancing access to timely diagnostics.

NTH Solutions continues to play a vital role in supporting the centre, delivering key services such as estates and maintenance, domestic and porter services, transport, mailroom support, and security.

This initiative exemplifies successful cross-Trust collaboration and highlights the exceptional teamwork across departments within NTH Solutions, including Estates, Health and Safety, Procurement, and Facilities Operations to name just a few.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. It stands as a powerful testament to what can be achieved through shared vision, dedication, and partnership.
