Victoria Watson
Director, Procurement and Supply Chain Management
Victoria is responsible for a highly specialised range of purchasing and supply related services within North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, as well as for some external public sector organisations. MBA qualified, and with more than 16 years of experience working in Public Procurement across Local Government and NHS organisations in the North East, she has been involved in numerous complex procurement and change projects, as well as leading quality and cost improvement projects, and contractual performance management.
Within Victoria’s role, effective policies and sourcing strategies are applied to support the successful procurement of complex, high value contracts. In addition, using her knowledge and understanding of best practice in contracting and supply management, commissioning and strategy design, she has developed a Category and Vendor Management function within the Procurement & Supplies department, working closely with the Trust’s key suppliers to ensure continual improvement in stock control and inventory management.
Working closely with regional procurement networks to maximise collaborative opportunities, Victoria’s extensive knowledge and experience is fundamental to the future growth of NTH Solutions, and the ability to continue to achieve best value on behalf of our Trust.
