Crable
The best-in-class commercial charging solution that helps reduce risk, adds value and supports revenue generation. Join a host of leading global brands in specifying the world’s no.1 charging shelf.
Introducing Crable: keeping patients connected with their friends and family by charging phones. With 78% of UK adults using a smartphone it is essential that they are able to stay in touch with their loved ones when they’ve been admitted to hospital. Crable offers wireless charging and also charging ports underneath the box. All wires are concealed and the boxes are installed safely.
The Solution
Crable shelves are installed around a hospital site at a height of 1.1m off the floor. Phones are simply placed on top of the shelf and they should instantly start charging wirelessly, users are told not to leave their items unattended. The shelf has two charging pads that are described as ‘fast charge’ and should charge any phone quickly. All phones from 2019 onwards should be able to be charged wirelessly but if not, there are USB ports and plug sockets underneath the shelf to be used too.
Easy Clean
Crable charging shelves are manufactured with a PC/ABS shell that is textured with a VDI of 36. This translates to a surface that provides some slip resistance but importantly not a surface that will harbour bacteria. Crables are easy to wipe clean using the strongest of commercial detergents. Don’t worry, any printing on your Crable will not be damaged by the cleaning products used by your cleaners.
