Security and Car Parking

24/7 Security Presence

The NTH Solutions Security team members are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They carry out patrols across:

  • University Hospital of North Tees (UHNT)
  • University Hospital of Hartlepool (UHH)
  • Tees Valley Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC)
  • Daytime support to Peterlee Community Hospital.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responding to calls for assistance

including violent incidents, fire alarms, and any incidences of crime or concern for welfare

Supporting the management of internal security systems across Trust sites

Maintaining a visible presence to reassure patients and the community during visits

Car Parking Support

Security also supports the Car Parking team, who manage both colleague and visitor parking across the North Tees, Hartlepool, and Peterlee hospital sites.The team is currently involved in rolling out a new car park management system across the University Hospitals Tees (UHT) Group.
