Specialist Engineering Services

The majority of specialist engineering services delivered by NTH Solutions on behalf of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust (excluding electrical or fire systems) are managed by our Engineering Compliance & Energy team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Energy management and low carbon energy assessment
  • Management and compliance for medical gas, decontamination, water, ventilation, and lifts
  • Oversight and management of Asbestos

Supporting Net-Zero NHS Goals

A major current initiative is the Government-funded decarbonisation programme at the Hartlepool hospital Energy Centre. This project is designed to help meet the NHS’s national net-zero target by 2045, replacing gas-fired heating systems with ground source heat pumps powered by renewable energy.
