Recognising the impact of good communication

Our Head of People Experience has recently won a national communication award.

Merita Taylor was named ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Comms/Digital Professional 2025’ category at the Comms 2.0 Unawards, the leading public sector communication awards. She was recognised for the work she has done within our organisation since joining us a year ago, alongside her ongoing commitment to her professional development. The event recognises the diverse talent that exists across the UK’s public sector, and celebrates the breath of exceptional communication and engagement work that takes place across a variety of sectors.

Merita was shortlisted against three other senior leaders from local authorities and ICBs in the UK. In her role, she is responsible for all communication, engagement, PR, brand, marketing and event management, alongside digital and social media, add some elements of corporate strategy development.
