NTH Solutions was proud to exhibit at this year’s Macmillan Academy Jobs Fair, joining more than 50 employers from across the Tees Valley to inspire students about future career pathways. The event offered an excellent opportunity to highlight the wide range of non‑clinical roles that support the NHS and keep our hospital services running smoothly.
Students from Year 9 to Year 13 at the Middlesbrough-based school visited our stand to learn about careers within our Facilities services, including Estates, Catering, Portering, and cleaning provided through our Domestics team. We enjoyed speaking with young people and their families about what it’s like to work in a hospital environment, the skills we look for, and the routes available into our organisation, including entry-level and school-leaver roles. As the Tees Valley continues to grow through investment in clean energy, digital innovation, and advanced manufacturing, we were pleased to show how NTH Solutions plays a vital role in supporting the region’s healthcare infrastructure by creating meaningful local employment for young people.
Our Facilities Lead, Bradley Stokes, commented:
“We were delighted to attend the Macmillan Academy Jobs Fair and showcase what a non‑clinical career in healthcare can look like. Our team spoke with students and their families about the wide range of opportunities at NTH Solutions within our Facilities services, as well as our application process and what it’s like to work in a hospital environment. We hope we’ve inspired people to see that the NHS offers so many career paths, and it’s not just for people who want to become medics. Thank you to Macmillan Academy for having us!”
