The NHS Implant Analysis Service is a robust, speedy, independent service providing physical analysis of revised implants. This is the first service of its kind within the NHS and the aspiration is that it ends up becoming a mandatory part of the process of post-surgical investigations.
The NHS IAS enables surgeons to receive detailed analytic reports about how each device performed inside the body. The service has already been featured on BBC Radio and the Clinical Services Journal, if you’d like to see more on either of these features then click here. The service was also present at this year’s BASK Conference, which saw over 200 attendees. This proved to be a great opportunity for the NHS IAS as the stand was constantly busy with many delegates receiving flyers and brochures, explaining more about the service.
With the service now entering its second year, social media accounts have now been launched. You can now follow our separate accounts on Twitter and LinkedIn. We’ll be using our new social accounts to share updates about the service, events we’ll be attending and blog posts as well as much more.
To find out more about the service, please take a look at our website. You can fill out an enquiry form on our site to get in touch with a member of our team or you can alternatively call us on 08459 390018.
