New partnership set to power-up healthcare premises across the UK

We are excited to announce the upcoming installation of Crable across North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust sites. The new partnership is set to power-up both of our hospital sites.

How many times have you had to look around urgently for a phone charger or a plug socket? A study from Royal London Hospitals highlighted the impact of patients being unable to access phone chargers.

88% of staff reported a patient had self-discharged citing low phone battery as a reason.

83% of staff reported suffering rude or aggressive behaviour because patients could not charge their phones.

Established in 2005, Crable is the solution to this common problem. The Crable charging shelves enable patients to stay connected to their friends and family as well as reduce stress and anxiety associated with nomophobia – the fear of being without a phone.

Crable charging shelves are mounted to the wall about 1.1m off the floor, and can fast-charge up to 8 appliances at a time.

Over 100 units are installed at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust. The feedback from the Trust has been fantastic, and the staff agreed and went on to give strong praise on the positive impact of the solution.

Charging your electronic devices around the hospital is due to become a lot easier! Watch out for this new partnership.
