The Health and Safety Team at NTH Solutions has been instrumental in the successful launch of the new Tees Valley Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Stockton town centre, ensuring that all safety protocols are meticulously followed to protect colleagues, patients and visitors.
With a vision to deliver tens of thousands of potentially lifesaving checks, scans, and tests annually, the diagnostic centre is set to become a cornerstone of community healthcare.
Fire safety has been a top priority during the preparations, and conducting a fire risk assessment on new buildings is not just prudent but a legal requirement. Led by Stephen Cuthbert, Fire Safety Advisor (pictured), the team has crafted comprehensive fire strategies for the community diagnostic centre well in advance of its opening.

The Health and Safety Team has conducted multiple site visits during the development, build and pre-launch phases, collaborating closely with the principal contractor and Building Control. These visits included demonstrations showcasing the operation and functionality of the fire systems. This hands-on approach has enabled the team to develop robust fire strategies and ensure the effectiveness of the safety measures implemented.
The team’s dedication and expertise has set a high standard for safety, making the new CDC a safe and secure environment for all. NTH Solutions’ commitment to excellence is evident in every step taken to safeguard the community’s health and wellbeing.
